Can I Stream It? App Reviews

It says all shows are available on Xfinity and no other providers. I have been watching a show on Hulu Plus. It says that it IS NOT available on Hulu Plus. That is incorrect. It does that on more than one show that I know for a fact is either on Hulu Plus or Netflix.

Great premise, horrible execution. I finally gave up when searching for Gold Rush season 4. It shows the first 3 seasons, then as youre scrolling down, it gets to the end of 3, freezes, then crashes. Every time. Deleting and moving on.

This app doesnt seem to give accurate results; I regularly find movies and shows that this app indicates as unavailable are in fact available via regular streaming services like Netflix, HuluPlus, or Amazon Prime. Its bad enough that you really do need to search the other services to actually determine availability -- which completely defeats the purpose of the app. The ads embedded in the app are also really intrusive and overwhelming as well, which might not be so annoying if the app actually worked. It is a great idea, however.

Competitors must be paying this company to say nothing is available on Netflix. The app even says "Orange is the new black", a Netflix original series, is not available for streaming on Netflix.

Even when I searched for shows I know are on streaming services, such as Orphan Black on Amazon, it just offered me the opportunity to set a reminder when it was available. Maybe Im using it wrong, but it didnt do what I thought it should and there was nothing to tell me I was doing it wrong so 1-star.

This app used to be one of my go tos for watching movies. However, it appears the developer stopped working on the app, as it crashes fairly often in iOS 9 and now displays incorrect information. For example, searching evil dead 2 in the app shows its only available for rental through Hulu. However, searching iTunes shows it available for rent. Please fix your once great app!!

Useless. Says things are only available on xfinity when in fact they are available on Netflix. In fact I have never seen this app say that anything is available on Netflix.

Downloaded, first search in the Streaming field got stuck in perpetual search wheel of death. Deleted.

Still some things to improve like performance but so far its been very useful to me

I dont know how good their search service is, because it doesnt do anything. The app itself is godawful and severely needs service.

The app is inaccurate. It doesnt show that shows that we watch on Amazon Prime or Netflix streaming are available on those services, so why would we trust it for things we arent sure about. For example, it does not show House of Cards on Netflix or Entourage on Amazon Prime.

It wants to be good, but its just way too in accurate to be of any use

Built well, works well, but the databases it searches are old/wrong/broken. Have yet to find any accuracy with their results.

I used this app for a while, but I kept finding it was not accurate. It would list movies as streaming that werent and vice versa. You had one job Can I Stream It?

Ive checked for tons of stuff that I just watched on Netflix and Hulu and Amazon and this app says theyre not available on those services. This gives false information. Waste of time

Update the app resolution for iOS 9 and the newer iPhones, letting the OS upscale the app is ridiculous and makes it look like you dont care. If your going to charge 2.99 to remove the ads, then spend the time to make the app worth purchasing. Lazy developers dont leave a lasting impression with us users and least likely to recommend you.

I like the idea of this app but I go to use it and it crashes. Fix it.

Layout is nice, so is the concept. Problem is I dont know how current the results are. Example: The Purge is showing available on HBO Go but when I looked on my HBO Go app it was not available. This defeats the entire purpose of this app. Im sure not all results are incorrect but this was literally the first search I did and it was wrong.
