Not really accurate, sort of sleazy sorting algorithm
It keeps telling me things arent available even to rent or buy digital versions from Amazon, but when I go check Amazon out of desperation, theyre actually available. Dunno what thats about. The desktop site has at least tended to be accurate about whether things are available for free on Netflix or Amazon Prime, so its not totally useless at least.
Its also kind of off-putting that most of the suggestions displayed when the app is opened are all porn-ish. Whatever algorithm is responsible for that could use some adjustments; Im an adult and not very fazed by explicit stuff so it mostly just makes the app seem
kind of skeazy and unprofessional to me when it doesnt have to be, but theres also no need to give parents a reason to keep teenagers and such from using the app. If I had kids I would be grateful they could find free ways to entertain themselves, but not if it means scrolling past Nymphomaniacs 2 as soon as the app opens.
Im going to keep the app around, Im sure itll get better in the future. Its just only sort of useful right now.
